Privacy Policy

The short version: we don't collect anything about you. The long version is below.

What we collect

Nothing. divcalc.io has no signup, no login, and no user accounts. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into the form live in your browser tab and are discarded when you close it. We do not send your inputs to a server, and we do not store them.

We do not set any first-party cookies for tracking, personalization, or analytics. The site does not currently use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics tool. If that changes in the future, we will update this page before turning it on.

Third-party services

Our ticker pages display historical dividend data sourced from Polygon.io. We pull that data ourselves on a periodic basis (via a build-time script) and check the snapshot into our codebase. Your browser does not call Polygon.io, and Polygon.io receives no information about you when you visit divcalc.io.

The site is hosted on Fly.io with DNS managed through Cloudflare. Like any web host, they may keep standard server-level access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and operational purposes. We do not access or analyze those logs.

Cookies

None right now. divcalc.io does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Your browser may store calculator inputs in local storage purely so the form can keep your work between page navigations — that data never leaves your device.

Children's privacy

divcalc.io is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The site complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by virtue of collecting no personal data at all.

EU and UK users (GDPR)

We do not process personal data of EU, EEA, or UK residents. Because there is no data to access, correct, port, or erase, the standard GDPR data-subject requests do not apply — we simply have nothing on file for you. EEA visitors can use the site without a cookie consent banner because no tracking cookies are set.

California users (CCPA / CPRA)

Same answer. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not collect any. California residents have no data to request deletion of, because nothing is stored on our side.

Future changes

If divcalc.io ever adds analytics, advertising (such as AdSense), or broker affiliate integrations that involve tracking, we will revise this page before those features go live. The “last updated” date below is the source of truth for which version of this policy is in effect.
